His Ghost

A Little Story

3am Penning

I dreamt about McLeod

He had with Him His Ghost

I wasn’t frightened at all

I wasn’t frightened at all

I told him

Dear friend I can see your ghost

He paused as if to stall

Dear friend I can see your ghost

And I’m not frightened at all

I told him

Come on and bring your ghost –
Time to bring him along

Come along and bring your spirit
I like the look of him

He stammered an awkward

What?

He’s walking right there to your right

And slightly just behind –

Your ghost has got your back

Come on now

Bring him along

Bring him along

Now

For the craic’

C’mon and bring your ghost –

Come along

I’m into that

I dreamt he had his ghost

I wasn’t frightened at all

I dreamt he had his spirit

I told him

Damn bro he’s got your back

Bring him

Along

Along

Along

Bring him

Along

I’m into that

I told him

There’s your ghost

I’m not frightened at all

I told him

I see your ghost

I can see he’s got your back

I told him – come along

Come along now

Bring your ghost.
